The Silos

Perhaps because of the country-tinged pop I've been listening to this morning (from Josh Rouse, noted in the previous post), my thoughts turned to The Silos -- an early No Depression-esque group from Florida. Here's "I'm Over You" from their self-titled major label debut (which was also their last major label record, I believe, after it didn't have boffo sales -- perhaps because they toned down their sound a bit). After the album, The Silos became more of a solo project for Walter Salas-Humara as his partner Bob Rupe left the group. Be sure to also check out their more muscular sounding album previous to this one, Cuba (sound samples available through iTunes and Amazon)
